Green Day With Three New Albums To Be Released Summer 08

i still think their old stuff is definatly the best stuff

Curious, why don't many of you like the American Idiot cd? From what I see, that's the most popularized one. Is it just because once again the media has made all the real fans sick of the songs from over playing them, or did you all just not like the different sound? I actually loved the AI cd.
 
I guess the only think to look forward to is if they cram all their American Idiot type songs on one CD and play some old style songs on the others so I could get those instead.
 
Why don't they choose all their best songs and put them on 1 cd and then make a crappy b-sides cd for hardcore fans. Instead of making 3 crappy albums they could make 1 average album.
 
That has nothing to do with it. It has to do with the fact that it's extremely hard to hate America when you're making millions of dollars through their capitalistic system like Green Day is. You can't spend millions of dollars on music videos, live in huge mansions, and say "**** America." It's extremely trendy and hypocritical. Eminem did the exact same thing.
 
Ah, I uderstand. Yes I was a little angry about that political statement. They shouldn't have directedd it at America because not all Americans are that way and also our country has done more than Canada ever will for the world,but I don't really feel like getting into a political dicussion.However, am I right by thinking that that song was directed at all the people who were sick of how hateful, ignorant and lazy people have become? Is that the only reason that you dislike them,Acratertocoffin?
