I'm not a fan of the new CD. And not because of the politics behind the music. The whole CD just doesn't sound the way I expect Green Day to sound
 
to me green day has never even come close to anything from dookie, maybe the time of your life was decent, but nothing else could ever measure up to that album.... this new single is so simple it starts to get boring pretty quick....
 
its def. different then i was expecting, but i still like it. i don't LOVE it, but its not a bad CD. i still listen to Dookie at least once a month, i seriously doubt that 7 years from now i'l be listening to American Idiot that often.
 
RATM is against bush, any person could see that.

the connection is that Green Day sucks musically, RATM actually has musical talent
 
RATM has some amazing talent. and its all talent too, no computers making their shit sound good. they sound just as awesome live as they do on their CD's. that one guitarist (i forget his name, the one always wearing a hat) can do some amazing things
