I wanted to go fishing this weekend, than i remembered that you need a fishing liscense or you can be fined up to 1000$ or more. Than i got to thinking about this deeper with relation to God and existance. These men are damn scum con artists, charging people for something that ought to be free, that was made free for mans survival by God. Arent these men afriad of what Gods gonna do/say when its there turn to be judged?my blood is boiling. my brothers have claimed his earth and even his fish now and are charging people to use it? it reminds me of car insurance, but much worse. whats next? having to buy a licsense to breathe air? dont you think the fishing liscence should be free for any canadian citizen? how do i go about writing or protesting this?
 
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll have to buy a fishing license, then he'll have to get a job because he's broke, then he'll have to pay taxes, and because he's not that good with numbers the IRS will pull up and take his black velvet elvis painting...
 
The money we use to pay for licenses goes to maintaining the fishing waters and stocking many of the lakes and rivers,etc.with the fish we catch.

In the US, you can pick up a fishing license like almost anywhere near where you'd go fishing. Like convenience stores and such, and the fee is $20. If license vendors are hard to find, you should talk to your province's government.

I think a reasonable fee is appropriate, and you're kvetching too much.
