I just got off the tele with an advanced tech support agent who notified me that ( if this is true... it is awsome) say you purchased the 400 message plan, you can ALSO get 400 mms that are NOT deducted from the 400 sms.... she said 400 sms and 400 mms... has anyone heard or know different ? I am new to tmo came from sprint, so i'm not a tmo pro yet... let me know.

I have not heard of that at all. As far as T-Mobile is concerned it is 400 Messages. They classify MMS and SMS as messages, they do not differentiate when it comes to cost. I would make sure that the rep you spoke with actually has his information correct. That 400 Messages is incoming and outgoing.

dang... i was really hoping that she knew what she was talking about.... i mean, i would expect that a reg csr would give bad info, but an advanced tech sup agent, well, i figured she knew right. dang.

Noob & it's my first post. Just want to thank all the stackers for giving me hours upon hours of fun field reading.Buy to answer your question it is true. I'm a tmob customer & have never been billed once I've gone over my sms & started using mms. So don't worry there is no extra charge.

Charley. That is not true. I would ensure you know about the general service and not just your acct before sharing info. The mms and sms messages do go through different servers, but they are counted the same. Generally speaking the company no longer defines the difference between the two. They are both billed the same (out or in, sms or mms). Now sure there are glitches in billing systems, but I would be willing to bet in your situation there was an anomaly of some sort. And unless you can legally or financially back up your info, I would refrian from "opening the floodgates" to others so to speak. Just my advice..
