I remeraber reading somewhere that the prick from Nickelback was booked to record a live session for Radio 1. When he turned up to record it he suddenly announced that he wouldn't be doing it because he 'didn't do singing before midday'.

I was going to nominate him for being an asshole but then I realised by refusing to perform he was actually doing everybody a favour.
 
^You didn't hear about how he kicked Jimmy out of the band after inviting him to be part of the reunion? Corgan's reasoning for kicking him out was just that Jimmy was a "destructive person." Jimmy is off drugs, seems sober in every interview, but yet, he's a destructive person. Not to mention he's just selfish. But really, who would trade Jimmy Charaberlin, one of the greatest drummers of the 90s, for a teenage rookie like Mike Byrne? Only Billy Corgan would do that, because he's an ***hole.
 
That doesn't surprise me, she seems like an uptight cnut.

Why was Phil Spector a terrible person? I know very little about him.

He was a misogynist-sadistic gun toting guy who beat, controlled and threatened many women over the years while hiding behind his "crazy genius" guise. He was finally sentenced to prison last year for murdering an innocent woman (gunshot by mouth) in his home.
 
I knew there was a rift in the band, but I wasn't sure who was to blame or what happened. After Mellon Collie/Adore I really wasn't bothered about them. What reason would Billy have for kicking him out of the band though? Billy was always the front man, Billy always was the songwriter who got the credit for being the driving force of the band. Why kick out a good drummer when he doesn't take away any of the attention?
 
Sometimes, someone who makes fantastic music can also be a bit of a prick.

Marc Bolan
There is no denying that both T. Rex and Tyrannosaurus Rex were fabulous. But behind the scenes Marc was a bit of a ****. He was best frienRAB with John Peel and used this to his advantage by being played on Top Gear. When Marc reached the mainstream he stopped talking to Peel. Bolan basically used Peel to get famous, and although I love his music that makes him a bit of a tosser.
 
Marc Bolan was a cunt?! WHAT? Don't say things like that James.

Albarn was a massive twat, probably still is.

Morrissey has that cynical side to him, I wouldn't call him an arsehole though.

Ian Curtis was a dick to his wife, but again I wouldn't call him an arsehole.. Just got married young which messed up his head.
 
I do apologise. I seem to have posted the wrong photo of Beth Ditto. I shall correct this unfortunate error and promise to make sure I never make this mistake again.

Steve Albini is apparently a chode. He was in a band named "Rapeman", which ticked off a bunch of feminists, and nonchalantly blogged about the girl he was banging having to get an abortion....
 
That doesn't surprise me at all about Whitney. She's the epitome of fame-induced narcissism, and boy did she get it bad! There must have been some arrogance in her even during her catholic schoolgirl goody goody days, otherwise I don't understand the transformation.
