I'm looking for a math book I can purchase to read and enjoy (even if it's a little challenging, that's okay). I'm a high school student and I want to really advance my math understanding (not just my skills). In fact, I rather increase understanding rather than skills, but I suppose they go hand in hand. Even if it's from the ground up type of book (as long as it's not horribly childish) I would love it. If you know of a book that helps you do huuuuge number problems in your head, I would love to read it as well! I'm really interested in math problems etc.
Next year I'll be in pre-calc and right now I'm in Algebra 3, so anything that really connects things up to there would be great for me to read and expand what I already know.
