Gratitude Is Helping

A while ago under a morning anxiety topic, Violet shared with us about gratitude . . . remerabering the good things we have.

I did not start practicing this until all of the stress of company coming (they arrived Sunday for a week), and the painting, steam cleaning and other cleaning began bearing down on me.

I would like to take a moment to tell you of some recent things that have helped warm my soul, so to speak, and helped take the edge off of the anxiety.

I remeraber how much I loved my grandmother's (on my Mom's side) very long sparkly white hair and her polka dot dresses.

I just love our new (married August 2007 and they are visiting this week) daughter-in-law to pieces.

I love being able to look in any direction from our house and see the mountains.

There are many more and I will share them with you, but I thought I would start a place for others to share and reflect on, hoping it might help with anxiety.

Lindaru...so glad to hear my therapist's little tip is helping!

Must admit I've been bad about going through that ritual. Will jump back on the wagon tomorrow. I did find it helped too :)
