ill give an example. (and 1/4 is a fraction) (^2 is exponent)
a = 1/4
(2a)^2
ok so a is a fraction, and my math teacher says that the way to do a fraction on a graphing calculator is to divide. but if i put (21/4)^2 it looks like 21 divided by 4. could someone explain this to me?
cant believe i didnt think about that. thanks, ill give you best answer tomorrow when it lets me.
