I'm in community college and I decided today that I didn't want to keep pursuing the associate in general studies it just seems that the general studies degree is for people who don't know what to major in, I'd rather pursue the associate in graphic design. Anyway, in the graphic design world, is an associate degree better than nothing?

an A.S. is worth little. real world experience is valued probably more than even a BFA degree.

In Graphic Design it's really all about how good your portfolio is and how quick/talented you are.

yes but not big jobs, just minor ones. you need at least a BFA for important ones.
