I didn't think the house was THAT bad. I did lol slightly when the woman was trying to convince Kevin Smug (and herself) that the blocks had a sparkle to them so it was all OK.
They were asking for trouble the moment the architect's plan had a curve on it. Always so much more time consuming to build and therefore vastly more expensive.
Agree that the worktop was absolutely shocking, and that despite their claims at the end, the underlying feeling I got was that they were both quite disappointed in the whole end result, especially her.
And yes enough with the eco-nonsense houses. It was OK when it was one or two such project per series, it was vaguely different and interesting, and you could pat them on the head and think "there there, well done, now let's see a proper house next week". Unproven eco mumbo jumbo every week, especially when it adRAB stupid cost, like quadruple glazed mega windows, is getting very tedious.
