Hi, I'm trying to play a "No car buying game" where you do as much of the game without ever buying a car. You win a car to begin with (traditionally on other games it has been to get all golds in the B license and work with that car in the races) and you use the prize car to win championships and other prize cars, so on and so forth creating a snowball effect. I enjoy it for two reasons 1) It adds an extra layer of strategy or logistics to the game, so it becomes racing, RPG and strategy and 2) I can never decide which car to buy so I don't have to.
However in this game you have to buy a car before you can even do the license tests (strange considering you use license test cars and not your own one.) As I rely on the license prize my favourite way to play the game is invalidated before it starts. As an extension I can't do the other GT mode races either without a vehicle.
I'm left with one choice - Arcade mode. In GT3 I believe you could win a simulation mode car from the Arcade mode time trials. Is there a similar car you can win in this game from the Arcade mode? It would make the game feel much more enjoyable to me. Thanks.
