Graham Norton vs Alan Carr vs Paul O Grady

Alan Carr.

Graham Norton isn't really that funny if he doesn't have bizarre websites and strange people to mock, and Paul O'Grady was best as Lily Savage.

I think I agree that it's Alan. I always know exactly what to expect with Graham and Paul and it never wavers from that (although I loved Paul's rant today) but Alan's interviews invariably make me laugh with cheeky questions and the guests are all so relaxed on it. Also love the rubbish drinks he gives them.

I prefer Graham Norton if I'm honest. His sense of humour and the things they get people to do on his show are hilarrious. Only one I genuinely laugh out loud at.

Although, Alan has the best guests, and I prefer Paul during the day.

I like all 3 too...Paul's the only one that does it live but don't think that makes much difference..as for the best interviews..normally graham can ask the questions we want to know..like tonight asking Charlotte about her split..although not much was said..which is usually the case
Alan normally is more about just having a laugh or making fun out of the guest (not always in a nasty way)
and Paul can sway from partially serious and probing to funny

So I find it hard to just pick one!

I prefer Graham Norton.

Alan Carr is cool as well, but I get the impression that it is for a younger audience. If you just check out the guest list, there is an influx of younger guests (Cast of Twilight, X Factor participants....) and the official Twitter page for the show is all teenagers wanting to know if they can get tickets or where the best place to stand outside the studio for autographs.

Graham does have younger guests from time to time, but he does not have them on constantly. His show does seem to be for a more mature audience.

Also, I kind of prefer the dinner party feel of Norton's show, having all three guests together, instead of bringing them on one by one., (in seperate interviews) You can't also have banRAB or big casts on Norton's show. On Alan Carr's show you would get three actors from Glee, but on Norton you would only have 1.

But that's just my opinion!

Paul O'Grady is hilarious, definitely my favourite though I notice that increasingly interviewees for all three are just playing the 'promotion' game and have nothing of interest to say when being interviewed (the big exception being Taylor Swift yesterday who was actually quite articulate and interesting) :(

I think Norton has the best show & guests but that may be because he has the BBC behind him and the bigger names are more likely to trust the BBC than other channels.

I watch Alan Carr if the guests interest me. The last series wasn't that good. Only watched about half.

I tuned in to the first episode of O'Grady's show. Never again!

I should also mention Paul O'Grady's opening speech on his show yesterday complaining about the draconian cuts instigated by cheering Tory MPs where he joked about taking to the streets and throwing bricks through George Osbourne's window. Not just very funny but great to hear the voice of dissent :o

Graham Norton. I particularly liked the fact that his show doesn't always just stick to the same old populist guests - there are quite a few cult stars and icons of the 70s who aren't there just to promote a new book or CD. The interviews are quite relaxed and spontaneous as well.

He has had to go a bit more mainstream now he's on BBC One, admittedly.

Then I'd say Paul. I think I preferred his 5 0' Clock show, but he's usually worth a watch.

I've never really watched Alan's show, to be honest. He seems to appeal to a younger audience, perhaps.

Alan Carr overall. The Graham Norton show's quite good too though. And well I can't even stand Paul O' Grady apart from the fact Taylor Swift was a guest of his last night :D

I'd go for Alan Carr though.
