Graffiti 2 v. 5.2P on TX handheld

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to write an underscore '_' using graffiti writing? It only seems to offer the option to write a dash '-'. Thanks!

Underscore is obtained by doing a dot (ie a quick tap) and then a rapid right-left-right motion. If you unhide the virtual graffiti area on your TX and then do a rapid stroke from the graffiti pad up to the top of the screen you will launch the graffiti help pages which show you how to produce all the letters, numbers and punctuation characters.

Thanks for your reply. But I have tried this and it doesnt work.

I have checked the help page and it suggests dash and dot to get the underscore...but that doesn't work either? Hmmm...not sure what else to do. I have tried it several ways.

Any other suggestions?

There are two possibilities. First, go back to Graffiti 1. Try this link:

Personally I hate Graffiti 2 and have been using Graffiti 1 on my T5 for months. Works a treat!

The second possibility is to use TealScript which replaces Graffiti completely. Many users swear by it, but it doesn't come cheap $29.95.

If I download Graffiti 1, will I still be able to revert back to Graffiti 2 if I want to/ be able to switch between the two?

Correct strokes for underscore are:

Upstroke

Left to right stroke with a tap at the end

Upstroke
