How is the Gracie Academy "Master Cycle" mapped out?
According to www.gracieacademy.com there are seven positional chapters: Mount, Side Mount, Guard, Half Guard, Back Mount, Leg Locks, and Standing. 8-16 weeks are spent on each chapter.
I assume this means seven chapters for each belt, with new techniques for each one. AKA: blue belt guard, half guard, back mount, etc.......and brown belt guard half guard, back mount etc.....
A black belt is not obtained within two years, so this must be the case. Any help is appreciated!
