Gps For The Curve 8320

Is there a Gps Program I can get for the Curve 8320 from tmbile. With new OS.


I have google maps does that even work what else can I use thanks in advance for your time.

Yes, there is a cost. The 8320 does not come with GPS, so you would have to get a GPS receiver to connect to it via bluetooth. I use the puck here. It is great, cheap alternative to the more expensive stand-alone units. It is tiny and hangs on my keychain.

There are other pucks out there... Garmin and Telenav have a few too.

As far as software, you could try some free ones (Amaze comes to mind). I guess, the biggest question is what do you need it for? Driving? Geocaching? Hiking?
 
Google Maps 2.3.1 or 2.3.2 work fine with the 8320. While not using a GPS receiver, it will approximate your location based on the closest cell tower(s) you are connected to.

For me in gets me in the general area of where I am and then I just zoom/pan for the particulars of what I need to find.

Note that some have reported some memory leaks with 2.3.2.
