GPS for T3

Well I finally managed to get my much longed for T3. I also have a wireless keyboard (the targus one) which I must admit is not as nice as the folding one I had for my old IIIc but hey thats progress.

What I'm looking for now is some GPS software/hardware that will tie into my T3. We quite often go out and almost get lost. We get to see some great places along the way but have no idea how to get back there. As we do this with amazing regularity both on foot and in the jeep it would be nice to be able to at least mark way-points so that we can find these places again.

I'm not interested in routeplanning and voiced navigation, topographical maps and the ability to log locations would be great.

Anybody know if I can do this?

Yesterday I bought RoyalTek RBT1000 Bluetooth GPS, (109 euro - 100 USD works fine with T3.
Best freeware gps program for palm :Cetus Gps, but on royaltek website you'll find also a gpsdemo that gives postion, speed, course etc.
RBT1000 is the size of a matchbox, with li-ion accu of Nokia and works for 8 hours after charging.

What Is Cetus GPS?

Cetus GPS for Palm OS is the Swiss Army Knife of GPS tracking and field data collection. It is intended for use by GIS surveyors, scientists, explorers and GPS enthusiasts who need to extend the features of their standard GPS equipment.

Navigation assistant
The navigation assistant provides instant access to your current position, course, speed, altitude, time and statistical information. The navigation assistant is a valuable supplement to the map and compass when driving, cycling or hiking in the outback.

Position databases
A position database contains a set of positions each including a geographical location along with a description and data accuracy information. You can add new positions to the database and edit, delete, copy or export existing positions. Position accuracy is easily improved by using the averaging feature. The position databases are suitable for GIS field data collection.

Track logger
The track logger stores position, altitude, speed, course, time and data accuracy information at a specified time interval or based on movements. It provides a unique opportunity of overlaying tracks on existing maps, calculating statistical data or reviewing interesting events of for instance a flight, a sail or a drive.

Data analysis and conversion
If your favorite GPS data analysis or conversion software does not support the Cetus GPS track or position database format, you may convert the data to the GPX format, a standard text format or one of many other formats supported by both Cetus GPS utilities available for most computer platforms and third party software.

Descriptions of the track file format and the position database structure are freely available along with sample source code in order to let you implement support for these formats into your application.
