GoW campaign was ruined by..

sorry, i dont cry over 150 bucks spent over the course of what, 3-4 years, oh no, how will i live. find something better to complain about. and ill take that moron comment, cause im one of millions who play for sequels when they come out a year or more later. if its a good game, i have no problem paying for it. a 60 dollar game doesnt make or break me, ive spent more than 150 on release dates picking up multiple games atleast 5 times in the last 2 months. no crying here

campaign seemed fine to me. i enjoyed it. i didnt expect much of a ending since we all knew this was gonna be the first in a trilogy or more.

what the fuck are you talking about? what they put in GOW makes a full game. just because they can continue it on into sequels doesn't mean they fucked us over. they did us a favor because the game kicks ass, and this way they can make 2 more along the same storyline with the same main characters that kick an equal amount of ass.

it's not like they releaseed GOW1, GOW2, and GOW3 all at the same time and want you to pay for them separately. they're all going to be full-length games. did you cry like a little girl when LOTR wasn't all one 8 hour movie too?

um........ok..... thumbs down to me for making a point........ good old OT. oh wait, right, cant forget the for some reason yet to be known

im still not finding where i mentioned anything about movies...... let me take another look again....... nope, nothing. odd

I am sick as shit of shooters and I was quite pessemistic about GoW. After all of the hype around PDZ and how horrible that game was, I've taken game hype w/ a grain of salt, but I caved and bought GoW and that's honestly one of the best games I've played in a LOOOONG time. It's certainly not your average shooter. IMO this game shits on Halo in every aspect of the game except for maybe death match online.

yeah, its a great game. i like it better than halo for the main reason its different enough still. but i miss having more modes, halo is great for ctf matches for example, which is why like resistance online, the extra modes adds that little extra. but who knows, maybe they will add a ctf option to gow or some more modes to keep things fresh. we will see i guess

you can watch a movie in 2 hours. so that's $4 per hour. so at $4 per hour you would need to play GOW for 12.5 hours to make it even with your movie analogy. it takes that long to play through the campaign on hardcore, let alone try it on insane or play it online. so in the end GOW is a better deal than an $8 movie

You won't get me to say too many kind things about Halo. I thought the game was shallow as fuck from the first time I played the first one. Halo and GoW are apples and oranges. There's more story and character development in the first act of GoW than there is through both Halo games.
