Government Taxes

I just noticed that on my ATT bill, I have about $14 in government taxes...My T-Mobile bill is $3 - am I missing something? I called T-Mobile and there's nothing hidden as far as they told me.

Its usually based on a percentage of your total bill, what was your total for each carrier? it can also vary for other reasons. And tmo may seperate gov, n local taxes where att does not, and it depends on what contracts they have with government, so on.

The "Gore Tax" on cell bills is designed to "put a computer in every classroom".
Although we have a "computer in every classroom", the tax is still taken out.
The Feds have two guys overseeing over a $1 Billion surplus, and last year it was divulged that they couldn't account for, and didn't know where a quarter of a $Billion of it was.
As I said, they are still taxing your cell bill for that "purpose".

We still pay less in taxes than a lot of countries.what is taxed and how much needs to change.I'm woried about the state of our economy as a whole. The middle class is suffering. The poor are getting poorer. The rich are gerring richer. Sigh. I don't see any hope with the next administration. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

taxes......the riches way of justifying taking money from the poor and making it legal.....
this is what happens when public offices carry a large paycheck and what amounts to immunity in the eyes of our government.....they start wars just to pad their own bank accounts....
our government needs a total wipe / reload......
maybe OS 4.5 for capital hill
