Well considering they have been dumping oil into the gulf for the past 37 days, I think a fine is in order.

Go dump some motor oil is a stormdrain and post the video online. Let me know how that turns out.

You're right why arent those congressmen out there with shovels trying to fill in the well!!!

So they shouldn't be fined at all? Just give them a stern talking to and be done with it? What is your brilliant solution?

I agree with the premise of stopping the damn leak before you even open your mouth about fines or anything else.

Work together and get that damn thing fixed.

outside if the government threatening to take over, which is laughable in itself.... nothing has happened as far as I know.

because that's why they do it, it's the truth of our government, they don't give two shits about the situation. all they care about is that they're rich and in power.

Well the Saudi's cleaned up an 800 million gallon oil spill using tankers, so that's the practical application I know about.

is this another thread where 1337pilot tries to assume that the government has the resources and expertise to help the spill?

here's 2009
Shit formatting but it's a lot of work to do that well

what do you expect the government to do? Obama doesn't own a fleet of ships and drills to respond to an oil spill.

our understanding of the boats/procedures/efforts are more involved than anyone else though.
