could someone explain it to me? i just want info on wicca, satan, etc. Is it a religion or just a belief, is it true or myth? thanks!

To sum up a very long answer that is quite complicated in itself. True Gothic culture is a very 'non-reactive' culture. As an example Goths do not like satanism as such but they do not condone it either. They do not like violence, but they do not condone it either. They prefer a safe middle ground free of real choices. Many goths seem to have an interest in the occult and mysticism but that is more of a personal preference.

When it comes to things like satan, wicca, God and those things, yes they are very real and should not be taken lightly. In short there are two realms fighting for your soul. The one would like to enslave it and the other would like to set it free. That choice is up to you.

gothic culture is people who like to wear black. but extreme gothsturn into vampire wanabes.
wicca
Wicca (pronounced [ˈwɪkə]) is a neopagan, nature-based religion.[1] It was popularised in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant, who at the time called it a "Witch cult" and "Witchcraft", and its adherents "the Wica".[2]

Wiccans, as followers of Wicca are now commonly known, typically worship a Goddess (traditionally the Triple Goddess) and a God[3] (traditionally the Horned God), who are sometimes represented as being a part of a greater pantheistic Godhead, and as manifesting themselves as various polytheistic deities. Other characteristics of Wicca include the ritual use of magic, a basic code of morality, and the celebration of eight seasonally based festivals.

There is dispute as to what actually constitutes Wicca. Initially, this spelling may have referred to the lineage of one of Gardner's rivals, Charles Cardell,[4] although from the 1960s it referred only to lineages stemming from Gardner and operating as initiatory Mystery Priesthoods (such as Gardnerian and Alexandrian Wicca). These are now collectively known in North America as British Traditional Wicca.[5] A third usage, which has grown in popularity in recent years, considers Wicca to include other forms of Goddess-oriented neopagan witchcraft that are similar to but independent of that lineage, including Dianic Wicca and the 1734 Tradition; these are sometimes collectively termed Eclectic Wicca.[5][6][

satan.
Satan (Hebrew: השָׂטָן ha-Satan ('the accuser')) is a term that originates from the Abrahamic religions, being traditionally applied to an angel in Judeo-Christian belief, and to a Shaitan in Islamic belief. Originally, the term was used as a title for various entities that challenged the religious faith of humans in the Hebrew Bible. Since then, the Abrahamic religions have used the name 'Satan' as a name for the Devil.

some people believe its true others don't. its wether you believe in it.

Wicca is very new age best beloved, was introduced by Gardner after the witchcraft act was repealed in the 50's so it's less than 60 yrs old and is mostly about nature, the elements, the Earth Mother and very little about actual witchcraft. I'm from a very much older pantheon which i was born into as my Mother was African. It's been around for over 9 thousand years and has been documented too. There is much more involved, as although it includes the elements it also includes such things as the cross 'shape' which for us relates to the 'crossroads' and not the christian concept. We work with roots, herbs barks, powders and have many more 'observations' than the sabbots of wicca. We always dry our own herbs etc and blend our own powders and oils as there is simply nothing to be gained from buying them. That said it really is a case of 'to each her/his own and we have, of late for some reason had a lot of people previously into the new age wicca come forward showing an interest in our pantheon. Some we accept, some we don't. The only thing that both have in common really is that neither is about 'satan' and if that's what you're looking for you won't find it in either and will probably have to look into Necromancy/Devil worship.
