you guys need to learn how to take care of a nintendo.
first thing: the best thing you can do is replace the connector inside the nintendo with a new one. the one you have is most likely corroded or the contacts are really dirty --> link to connector
keep in mind that this will require you to open up your nintendo. if you don't want to, you can always by the cheap nintendo clone called yobo(
Never cleaned any of my cartridges... I have had one nintendo to die though, it was someone else's in my family and they just gave it to me because they couldn't get it to work, I did, but it didn't last long before it was just doing light shows all the time so I just went back to mine. I think my NES is the equivalent to highlander.
lol i had that too. i ended up selling that game though. I hated killer instict after playing it on snes for a couple of weeks. its one of the only games I have ever sold. not my game of choice. I liked mortal kombat though...
Im kicking myself for that too, I gave away all my NES shit, my SNES broke, and I gave away most of my N64 stuff, except for three games, a memory pack, and a controller
