Got my Wii camping this morning....

Woke up at 7 to head to EB and wait in line.... Still drunk from the night before of course, and I'm the 1st one in line. I look over at Circuit City, and the manager is passing out vouchers, so mii and my friend ran over there and got the last 2 and got to go home and sleep. Sorry I'm just excited and I wanted to rant. Lata!
 
I went to line up at toysrus @ 7:00 in the morning i was also fairly wasted from the night before, and before i joined the line i smoked a spliff to myself. That was the only saving grace of the -11 degree weather.
 
my bro just picked one up.
bowling and golf in Wii Sports is fun as hell.
he was only able to get 2 nunchuck controllers because they were sold out

after a few minutes playing boxing, I'm tired

this is def. gonna get more play time than his ps3. dunno about the 360, especially when Fuzion Frenzy 2 comes out
 
i said what the shit and stopped by a local target this morning 10 minutes before it opened. there were about 20 people in line and we all got tickets, the woman musta had 50 or so.

i was quite happy after reading some other people's horror stories regarding this morning.
 
I got up at 6:30... roads covered in several inches of fresh snow, so they sucked Got to target, and found out a lot more people had gotten there at 6 for vouchers I still got one, picked up a couple of other games and then went to kmart and found an extra remote and nunchuck It really is a cool console, and the first I have bought in 10 years
 
Werd, I wasn't expecting to camp, I luckily got to my local best buys line early because I saw that there was just that.. A line. I was 6th out of the 40 something units that Best Buy had. There were about 50 people in line, shit was crazy for January, I can only imagine how its going to be when the Wii's are going to be readily available.

There were campers at the local toy-r-us and they gave out tickets 3 hours before they opened ... discouraged I went home and called the Toys-r-us in the next town (50 mins away) and they had 7. Left the house and called as soon as I got on the highway (10-15 mins) they had 5.

Daughter got sick in her car seat 10 mins away from the exit ... there are no more exits till the TRU exit!!!

The van stinks and my daughter has tossed 3 times now and our 2002 Chevy Venture grew wings ..... FUCK!!! THERE IS A REV LIMITER AT 110MPH!!!!

pull off the highway in to the parking lot of the mall ... wife goes left to Old Navy (get the poor kid who is feeling much better, new diggs for the ride home) I go right to the TRU .... "excuse me do you have any Wiis?" ...
TRU Dude: "Ummmm.... are you the guy from Kingston ?"
Me: " Yeah"
TRU Dude: "Phew.... OMG Dude we didn't think you were going to make it"

Lol I didn't camp I went 20 mins before Gamestop opened and got one for me and my brother also got one. We could've got their when the store opened and still got one.
 
i walked into eb and picked up one outta nowhere..... and gave it to the person i got it for the next day. dont even want one and end up with one bought and paid for... and now its gone
 
Went to my local Best Buy Sunday morning. Swore I wouldn't wait in line for it. When I got there, there was only 14 people in line, so I figured, Why not? Got my voucher #15, and sat in my car. Was I surprised when I found out they had almost 100 of them. Shady BB has been holding them for the past 3 WEEKS!! Oh well, I got mine now!
