Got my PS3 last nite :coold: v.thoughts/questions

Only game I bought was NBA2K7 - pretty much the same as the 360 version, fun game. Only played 2 games, graphics are sweet and they added a decent amount of new animations - especially under /around the basket

The interface is 100% PSP-like. So if you had/have a PSP should be no problem using it . I just wish it wasnt so damn plain - having a 46" TV and just 6 tiny icons isnt the hottest looking shit. Is there a way to change backgrounds or colors or something?

Thing that pissed me off is I assumed I would be getting Talledega Nights Blu-Ray, so I didnt pick up any movies at the store, and bam I get home, no free Talledega Nights Kinda sucks considering you spend $600 and cant get a free fucking Blu-ray to check out the player


I updated my shit to the newest firmware, 1.31 I think? Tried out the web browser, it completely sucks ass. Text is tiny and unreadable half the time, and I tried to load ESPN.com homepage and the shit popped up an error that it ran out of memory? WTF - cant load 1 page? Whats it have in it, 16mb ram or something? Hopefully they come out with a real browser, or at least improve that piece of garbage.....

I tried going online in 2K7 and it just kept saying Network Error and I never got in. Anyone know if 2K7 works online yet or just nothing up? Also this morning I tried logging into PS3 online, and all I kept getting was an error message about Network Unvailable or something - was the whole online shit down today? Is there anything "cool" on PS3 online yet anyway? Trailers/Demos/etc?

Oh and can I stream movies/mp3s/pics from my PC like you can on 360? Or is there at least a way to send files to the PS3 and play from there?
 
It has 256 megs of ram. I don't have problems getting on websites.

You can use RedKawa to upload/download movies/songs/pictures. I just use a usb card.

The network to play games online should be on.

I thought I read somewhere from some of the anti-Sony fags on here that the PS3 didnt do 1080i ? My shit is in 1080i on auto-select settings or whatever.

Oh man I gotta try out the video stuff - playing everything off the PS3 FTW

From Blu Ray forums.... The movie that really shows off the system is MI:3, Xmen, and Aeon Flux... at least those are the ones I have that really show the video qualities.

I have a 46" and the text is very sharp dont get me wrong, but its fucking TINY. I tried doing Text size +2 and it barely changed anything....

Still wonder why the fuck i go to ESPN.com and the shit has to close because it runs out of memory

Oh and does Flash work?
 
i picked up MI 3 movie pack, mi 3 looks awesome, i also got blackhawk down, on the recommendation from a friend who got it on Blu Ray. and i very happy with it, i was comparing the newest edition of it on dvd, one mastered for high def on my up converting dvd player, and theres a big difference side by side. well worth the money.
