Due to cysts on my ovaries, I was prescribed the pill about 3 months ago. I was told by my gyn that I should only take the hormone tablets, skip the sugar ones, and allow no period for 3 months. I am half way through my 3rd packet, after already skipping 2 months worth and today I randomly got my period. I have been through severe stress over the past month and have other infections in my body due to the stress buildup and overworking my body during it.
So what should I do? Take the sugar pills and in 5 days start the hormones again? Or when should I take them again? (I'm changing pill after this month to a different type)
And could it have been the stress that bought this on, or should I call my gyn to find out?
But I shouldn't be getting my period at all? I'm in the middle of the packet and am suppose to skip the sugar ones anyway.
