So i put cyanogen mod into my LG Optimus V.
It is rooted and all i ave some questions

1. I have overclocked it using setcpu. i went from 600 mhz to 806 mhz. thats the highest it stays stable on. is it okay that i am overclocking? will it damage my phone? i have set profiles so it underclocks when idle.

2. whats the best waqy to make the battery last longer?

3. Can i make this any faster? will getting a fast SD card help?

4. What is a good music app, where i can make a playlist of all my songs? not a radio like pandors or anything. A app where i can listen to music online and make a playlist and all listen it online not from my card

At 806mhz I'd say you are safe from the phone exploding but take note that overclocking usually does wear out the battery much faster. What I would do is set the phone to run at an overclocked speed only when the screen is on (unless you have calibrated that already). Getting a higher class SD card will not help tremendously unless you have all the apps installed on the phone stored on the actual card. And to answer your last question, I honestly only use the stock music app and Pandora radio. You may want to give TinyShark a try, but it hasn't been guaranteed to work on all Android devices.
