Got flashed by a red light?

I was coming home from a friends on Saturday around 2:30 in the morning . I was driving and the light turned yellow so i sped up a lil , i wa almost on the other side and it turned red, and the camera flashed , i think 2 times. Does anyone know if they would reject it since i was by the Other street. And if i do get a ticket, what would happen and the procedures. I really wanna fight this since i was b the other side, and if stopped, boom, car accident. Thanks
