Got a ticket for possession, would it be worth taking a diversion program before

showing up to court? I know the court will probably make me take a diversion course anyways but would it be worth getting that over with and showing up to court with that already under my belt? Or would they just dismiss that and possibly make me take it again with certain papers I need signed?
