i am in california, I got a speeding ticket in 8/10/10, never got a coutsey notice. The date on the ticket expired on 9/24 never heard snything and i figured i had escaped one. Well today i finally got the notice with a new date. I have an obligation to take care of this ticket in a timely manner by law. Then why doesn't the officer have to do his job and report the ticket in a timely manner? If i take this matter to court, can i win it?
also went to traffic court 3 different times and could not find the ticket
