GOT A QUESTION. I have a 2004 mercury grand marquis , and a 2000 mercury grand marquis?

the a/c compressor on my 2000 mercury bearing making a whining noise. i have an older a/c that come off my 2004 mercury , my question is , can i get the clutch and bearing out of the a/c compressor from the 2004 mercury and put on thea/c for the 2000 mercury? trying to save money if possible. will this match up????
the shop will take it out . i just want to know would it fit before i take it there. just to save me the trouble of taking it there
 
Probably if you have the special tools required to take the cluch off in the first place.
