Got a PS3 for christmas...should I trade it in for a Wii?

Would certainly be a lot less expensive and I don't really like the current PS3 titles and the stories of technical issues.

Wii is calling to me, but it looks like it may be a while before I can find one.

What should i do?
 
Wow, rich indigenous parents in Algonquin...interesting. Anyways, if it doesn't offend the people who bought the gift then fuck yes I would return it.
 
I'd got the Wii + 360 route then. Buddy of mine got a PS3 yesterday from his girlfriend as an early xmas gift, we hooked it up and it doesn't look any different than a 360, and sure as fuck isn't worth $600+. On Call of Duty 3 the 360 actually looked better IMO. I was planning on buying a PS3, until I saw it side by side with 360 playing the same games.

If you aren't interested in a HD console then just get the Wii and use the extra cash for accessories and games.
 
Wife bought it for me and I have been cushioning the blow of returning it since I first unwrapped it.

I just keep exclaiming about how expensive it is.
 
I will trade you. I have a Wii plus 2 Wiimotes and 2 nunknucks. And we can work out a deal for some cash as well PM me if you are interested.
 
nice. youre set either way. but the problem with the 360 is that you have to buy the hd dvd ad on and it makes it as expensive as the ps3. the problem with the wii is that while it is the funniest party console ever. it may be a little gimmiky and may get old over time.
 
She should have known better. Definitely go for the Wii, a few games, and an extra controller or two. You already have a 360; having a PS3 also is redundant.
 
1. You can't even get a Wii at stores now, unless someone returns one on Tuesday.

2. If it's the 60gb model, I would just hold on to it or return it. The PS3 will be worth picking up in like 2 years.
