just was wondering how to wire the sub up , and how to wire it to the amp,and what setting to have the amp at,the way i got it now dont think it is right bought it thew days ago put it in my car and a funny smell is coming out it,
a funny smell? can be a bad connection where wires are touching and melting their plastic or the inner carpet of your car. but a weird smell may mean more than that. call an audio shop and they can help you with stuff like that.
but wiring it right? your should wire your fuse to the positive terminal, then connect your power wire to the fuse. the positive power wire then goes to the right connection on the amp. then wire the ground wire to the chassis of the car. connect the sound wires from the subs to the amp. then connect the antenna wire from the radio to amp.
thats your basic setup.
