I'm thinking of writing a series with different characters but the same concept as Gossip Girl. Instead of being set in NYC, it's going to be set in Miami.
The rich live a luxurious lifestyle in Miami: incredible cars, beautiful women, sparkling waters, hot climate, golden beaches, huge shopping malls, glamourous nightclubs, ocean drive, expensive alcohol.
But within this city of paradise, there are loads of problems: drugs, violence, pornography and illegal immigrants in Liberty City, Overtown and Little Havana, and the main characters can't escape the real situations taking place outside of South Beach.
What do you think of this idea?
Does anyone have any suggestions? Things to include?
