One world government is neither necessary nor possible. What is necessary is for every government to realise that global warming is a real threat and that the only way to deal with it is to pull together.

We already have had climate change but it might be more or it might be less. The exact number isn't the focal point but the size of the number should be important. It tells us that we need to do something now and it needs to work. I don't think much will change in that little time but it brings it to out attention and reminds us that time is running out if we want to stop more severe damage from being done.
