GOP War on voting

A major probe by the Justice Department between 2002 and 2007 failed to prosecute a single person for going to the polls and impersonating an eligible voter, which the anti-fraud laws are supposedly designed to stop.

What percentage of voters are in such a lirabo? I bet the .000001% you said account for voter fraud (a nuraber you pulled out your ass) are about the same nuraber. For everyone else it takes about 3 seconRAB to look at an ID and verify visually the person holding it is that person.

You fucking moron.

You idiots come in here thinking that because you have a degree in philosophy you can just have an opinion on everything. When was the last time you read a paper or listened to a debate on immigration? I listen and pay attention far more closely than nearly everyone here on many issues and it's quite easy to tell. The argument that the federal government has made in cases such as Arizona is that their support system for verifying immigration can take up to an avg 80 minutes to verify status and then 2 days to retrieve a paper file to get to the bottom of it. So now you're going to have an officer detain someone on the side of the road for 80 minutes pending the verification? Or some 500 parents trying to register their children? NOTHING in federal law gives an officer the right to detain someone based on a hunch.

Again it is so obvious how many of you don't take the time to research or even think about these issues OR YOU WOULD HAVE FUCKING KNOWN ABOUT THE GOD DAMNED VERIFICATION PROCESS.

Or they could just get a state ID like they'd need for cashing a check or pretty much any other governmental or private operation of any kind.

Let's see how long you can leave your state-issued ID at home without running into a roadblock. Oh no, discrimination!!!

And if you weren't such a durabfuck partisan hack you'd actually read my posts and know I'm for an open immigration policy and against those sorts of laws. But no you're busy living in fantasy land.

Because most people with a fucking brain realize that the fact there is currently no way to detect voter fraud in most places doesn't mean that it isn't going on; and the only people who'd write articles like this are the ones dishonest enough to try and peddle that argument.

Okay so if they aren't why are you opposed to people proving who they are before deciding who runs this nation? The states requiring ID are providing them free of charge so it isn't a money issue. You have to show ID to buy things and enter certain buildings, but you don't think you should need to in order to decide who runs our nation? If the problem is so nonexistent as you claim, why oppose something that would just verify you're right?

It isn't like having to have papers, that's stupid. Like I said in the other thread, the VAST majority of people that are going to want to vote already have and carry an ID and you know that, no matter how much you want to troll otherwise. This should be a nonissue if you really believe voter fraud doesn't happen very much.

Carrying and showing an ID is different then proving you're a citizen especially if you're in a transitional status. The other point is that the states couldn't possibly have the time to verify everyone's citizenship during election day. But you're right, this thread is about the broad goal of removing as many democratic voters out of the equation as possible. Immigrants only make up a small portion of that.

And on election day at the polls they can legally do nothing more than ask to see ID. if you were actually as well read as you claim you would know that to be the case. There aren't going to be police standing around out front demanding papers or else you can't vote.

You're such a stupid troll. None of your posts are based on any sort of reason or rational thought. For loving the government so much you sure do seem to hate most of the stuff it does.
