Google phone vs. Iphone

Its time for me to get a new phone and I need OTs help. I have T-Mobile already so it would probably be cheaper to get the Google phone, but I have not heard a lot about it. I know its not out yet but does any one know how it compares to the I phone.

Android looks pretty sweet, but if it's anything like Google's other products, it'll have great potential, but it'll be unpolished for quite a while.

It's not a Google phone, it's an HTC phone (and could be any phone for that matter) that uses an OS (Android) developed by Google. I believe the OS uses the Linux kernel. That said, at this moment, it's a wait and see as to how good Android is and how well the product (i.e., the G1) implements it.

HTC makes good devices -- so long as another OS can be installed (if Android turns out to not be very good), the G1 looks decent.
