Google negative business reviews disappear/censored?

I'm feeling censored more and more.. between news blogs and Google. It seems to me that if I give businesses an honest write up on the negative side, even though I don't say anything in a particularly derogatory way, my comments disappear.
Has anyone else noticed this w/Google at those places where you can rate with stars and comments?
