ok well i got a nokia 6165i and since cricket blows this is one lil cool thing i found...... if you open ur internet browser go to google.com/gmm it will ask you if u wanna download tha program google maps... down load it and and run it...it asks if u wanna connect AND CRICKET CONNECTS there u go...now u got instent google maps on ur fone.....not bad

(OMFG I DONT CARE IF SUM1 ALREADY POSTED THIS)

well only reason tha google maps works is cuz of tha google hack.....so even if opera was put on tha fone....you couldnt get it to connect to tha internet because cricket dont allow it.....same reason i cant get aim on my cellie :( i have to use it threw text messages.....GAY

It won't even install for me now... weird... but when I tried it last time, it gave me the same error when I connected.. said something about "you must have an internet connection"....

I'd guess you could probably find the registry line for the server, and figure out how to access the server using the proxy, then input that addy into the registry line... That's been my impression of what the problem is.

Also, is it possible that it requires java or .net or something that you might not have on your phone? I know a lot of the "regular" cricket phones use java for brew, so it's possible it wants java, but our phones don't have it installed.

I was just going to post that I found a thread on ppc6700users.com about this exact issue.. you DO need java.

Let me know which file it required if ou figure it out...I downloaded 2 different ones.. but I'm not sure which is right.
