When I search for images on Google it returns results but none of the images or thumbnails load. Then my connection to Google temporarily freezes over and I can't load anything related to Google for about 5 minutes. Afterwards the regular searching goes back to normal however if I try to search Google images again it'll freeze up for 5 minutes again. During this time I also often experience problems with some other pages I have open too like you tube or diviantart, however pages like facebook, myspace ect still work fine. I use the latest version of firefox and I have searched over a fair few forums and have done everything suggest to try and fix it like, clearing my cookies, adding the site to the exceptions list in the load images section (under tools), opened firefox in safemode, tyring it through Internet explorer, turning off my modem firewall, turning off my anti virus software and none of them worked.
It started happening randomly over the last 3 - 4 months and has continued to get worse as time goes on, now Google images (as well as any other image searches eg. Yahoo) stops working every time. I have done a fairly broad search and it seems that a lot of people have experienced this problem too (also in the last few of months) If anyone could shed anymore light on this for us, I would so grateful.
Also i might add that my gf's laptop that connects to the net at home using the same modem (which is a belkin by the way) does not have this problem, it uses Internet explorer.
