Google Chrome: I can't access websites with a hyphen before and after the url?

Eg. : cookiemonster-.tumblr.com or -labyrinth.tumblr.com

When I try to enter the sites, this is what appears:
Oops! Google Chrome could not find -labyrinth.tumblr.com
Try reloading: --labyrinth.-tumblr.-com
Additional suggestions:
Access a cached copy of --labyrinth.-tumblr.-com
Go to tumblr.-com
Search on Google:
