Google Chrome, and using google as a default search browser?

Okay I use google chrome, have been for months.
this past week everything i type in teh address bar and press enter to search its keeps going to the
queryexplorer.
google is my default search browser so when i click enter in the bar. i should be going to google search options.

I have already went through my options and preferences and couldn't find anything amiss.

what am I doing wrong?
