i just got my android app inventor invite but, just like google voice/video chat, no rpm support! ffffffffuuuuuuuu!

so i'm just interested... what os are most of the android users here using, and if you're using a linux distro, which one?

i rock fedora - am i in the minority?

can anyone offer any insight into why google is only accommodating deb packages?

Primary: Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 2.6 lucid w/ compiz fusion. Secondary: (dual boot windows blah need it for wifes i-tunes and thats the ONLY reason)

Media center/ Home theatre running Mythbuntu 9.10

Old Faithful running Sabayon Linux 5.3
test machine currently running PCLOS Gnome and android 0.3

I started out on Linux with fedora, knoppix and slackware so I still use those on occasion.

Loved Konqueror, especially when first transitioning to linux from windows, i was blown away at the capability. then again Linux in general still amazes me.

Ubuntu Lucid on both my PC and notebook. I just recently put Windows 7 Home Premium back on my PC for dual boot just for games. In the future I plan in getting a notebook and having a Win 7/Ubuntu dual boot for games as well.

Btw, I bet Google supports .deb packages because I'll bet that's what Chrome OS uses. Also their severs run highly modified versions of Ubuntu. Just a guess anyway.
