Google ajax search api, searching for word definitions using 'define: word'?

Is it possible to use the google ajax search API to query a search like 'define: pie' to get the definition of a word in a jason result?

I'm using PHP and curl to use the API right now, but it doesn't seem to let me search for word definitions!

Please provide URLs with information
