A colleague and I were (happily) using Goodlink on an E61 via Cingular.
About 2 weeks ago, email delivery and syncing, which used to be nearly instantaneous, now lags anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes and has sometimes required sending a couple of messages to oneself to "uncork" message flow.
Additionally, the E61 was losing its GPRS connection for long stretches. None of Cingular, Nokia nor Good has any bright ideas. Cingular is trying to cite the cutover to their 3G network as well as their viewing the E61 as an unsupported device.
Good says its a bug in Nokia code but cannot explain why it used to work perfectly. Nokia says that the E61 is not optimized for US carriers but also cannot explain why performance suddenly degraded.
All other functions are fine. Any similar experiences/issues?
No, I don't know what firmware I have because I do not know how to check.
