My favourite vampire films include Blade and Blade II (I'm a big fan of the short lived TV series also), From dusk till Dawn, Nadja & Underworld ( Its sequel was so-so).

I've also heard good things about 30 days of night

I'm not into Vampire films at all. I suppose most people would go for Blade or From Dusk To Dawn these days.
The only one I would watch is 'The Lost Boys'.

There's an interesting movie called Shadow of the Vampire . It stars Willem Defoe & John Malkovich and is a pretty original idea for a movie. I saw it years ago and quite liked it.

Try the 1967 film 'Dance of the Vampires' aka 'The Fearless Vampire Slayers'.

A comedy, directed by Roman Polanski, it wasn't perfect, but was quite enjoyable. Interesting for the fact that the late Sharon Tate appears, she met Polanski when making this film.

I thought Queen of the Damned was good, sort of a bad idea to try to squeeze two books into one movie though...
