Good topics to discuss for radio show?

The deal is, I do a radio show on Friday mornings. My regular cohost is going to be out and I'm having a guest host.

So what should a guy and a girl discuss that will be interesting to our listening audience? Any good ideas?

Just so you know this is a talk format show. I've been doing a show for awhile and this is my second show thats about a month old.

Also to the "insane dude without a pulse " generally your statement is true but trust me I'm a very active busy individual with a life. You'd be quite suprised. I tried to email you but you have the setting off.

Ok,well i have always wanted to have my own radio station,and was jotting down some ideas im willing to share:D
in order to have a wide variety of listeners you need a wide variety of topics, some good topics are celebrity gossip,music,love and relationships,you can touch on some things in the news that you find interesting you can even get a phone number and play games with your listeners you can make up all sorts of games...i dont have any in my head right now but i hope my advice helps if not im sorry:]bye!
 
I used to DJ in collge, and it was very fun.
if you play music, after you play a set-amount of songs and list what was played, I would give some new info on one or two of the bands.

Upcoming concerts

whats in the news in your town/city

upcoming weather

since it's a friday show, I would do a segiment on whats comin to ____ or what to do in _____ this weekend.

How about local entertainment? What local bands are playing and where, art showings, theater, restaurants, dance clubs, etc.
 
talking about soccer moms that are hooked on crystal meth is very interesting....

so are "real" desperate housewives....

to sum both of these ideas up...how about a topic called..."the secret lives of housewives/stay@home moms "

sounds sooo juicy !!!
 
They should tell people to call them and then they should play the favorite song of the person who callled the radio show and in general they should discuss all the topics related to that person(like his job, passion, family background, education, sports, favorite cine-stars, fav. player), so in this manner the show will be very interesting and completely different from the previous day.
