Does anyone know of a set or a toy I can get that will teach me about electronics. I want to learn about all the components of a circuit, and how to read electricity using a multimeter.
There are electronic labs you can get at Radio shack or electronic stores where it's a kit containing electronic components that you can wire different ways where you can create hundreds of different electric circuits like, noise machines, radios, ect. There you can learn some basic electronics.
Any old or unused mouse would do. If you want a much complicated circuitry, try opening up a phone charger or alike.
You can also buy your own build-your-own electronic kits from the local electronics store.
Reading multimeter is easy, specially if it's digital, for analog ones, it needs to be careful on which scale to read. I bet youtube has some videos to watch.
