Good tips on writing a song? Help please....?

I like Michael Jackson's songs and I wanted to know if I could have some tips so I can write a song that would be good enough for him to sing (even though he is deceased) :[ What are some topics that I should write about?
I want the song to be so good that it makes you wanna just dance... kinda like michael's songs
 
well first of all are you talking about music or lyrics? with lyrics just write about what affects, impacts, and deeply moves you in your life. as for the music I can't really help you there.
