Tinted moisturizers provide more hydration than foundations, but a little less coverage, so it is very practical for daytime use. It is also easier to apply, just smooth the fluid all over your face for a natural, smooth look.
I love Shiseido's The Skincare Essential Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15! This fluid is very hydrating provides moderate coverage. I also like Chanel's Hydramax + Tinted Moisturizer, but the shades are limited, if you can find a shade that matches your skintone then you are set! Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer is also a good one. You can find all these brands at your local Sephora or sephora.com.
For more affordable choices, Covergirl's Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer, Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Tinted Moisturizer, and Wet N' Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer are wonderful picks! The first two even offer SPF.
Dove does have a tinted moisturizer, it is called Essential Nutrients Protective tinted moisturizer SPF15. I have personally never tried this lotion, but Dove does have a reputation of being a gentle brand.
I have tried all the other brands listed above and I have not had any negative reactions to them. I do have sensitive and dry skin, so I hope these work for you!
I have been using tinted moisturizers for years. It is less heavy then foundations and lets your skin breathe. Good luck in finding the perfect tinted moisturizer!

hope this helps
