Good sausage camping recipes?

Hi, I'm going backpacking for four days tomorrow, and wanted to bring ingredients for a german dinner. The dinner i had in mind was sausage with curry ketchup and sauerkraut, with tomato soup as an appetizer. However, I'm a terrible chef, and am not sure if I can even bring sausage as it might spoil. Can anyone help me out?

I don't think the sausage will spoil if you keep it wrapped

Backpacking - - I would add some of the packaged soups and just add some diced sausage
