Good Openers

James Brown opened for RHCP in Hyde Park, really should have been the other way round, i heard Pixies opened for them in Dublin as well.

Chicks On Speed played before James Brown, quite funny watching them get bottled off.

ive often gone to gigs FOR the openers.

some favourites...

Twinzero opening for Red Sparowes
Aotea opening for 27
Cult Of Luna opening for Bleeding Through (i wouldnt have gone otherwise)
Rainyday****parade opening for Municipal Waste (same as above)
The Blueprint opening for Funeral For a Friend (same again)

Between the Buried and Me for Comeback Kid. April 03.
Inferis for I Killed The Prom Queen July 04.
Jesus Wept for Symphony in Peril. Noveraber 05.

my favorites.

Submersed opening for Disturbed.
Although i really dont like Submersed stuff on any of thier cd's, they put on one hell of a show. They covered "Wherever I May Roam"- Metallica , to perfection.

you kidding i went to that gig! funeral for a friend playing for a heavy metal crowd, it was doomed from the start. they got booed off in their own country...

Reznorslave said: "Believe it or not I saw Kiss open for Aerosmith a few years back and Kiss put on a hell of a show and blew Aerosmith out of the water!!!"

I forgot about this. I saw them in Manchester, but I never really thought of it as KISS opening, since Saliva opened for both banRAB. I am a huge Aerosmith fan, but KISS definitely had the best show that night.

Yeah, i got hit in the face, because I was enjoying their set, wasnt fun. And neither was vomming in the pit :D well it was for me, not the guy in front, at least he was a skin head, if he'd have had long hair, he would have been fooked

i had a great night, my mate fainted so i had to crowd surf over to meet him and i got my shoe stolen, then it was thrown on stage, and bruce ****ingson picked it up and when i went to get it back at the end it had gone. the guy infront of us was a human cube too, i'd never seen such a bulky guy in my life thank god he didn't want to hurt us.
but the ffaf set i have to say was agonising to my ears...
